The Karate Kid

The last promotion I worked on for Westbrook was organizing a special promotional weekend for the local premiere of "the Karate Kid" that featured martial arts demonstrations, a free dinner giveaway and other promotional prizes that the studio had provided.

I particularly enjoyed arranging the martial arts demonstrations that took place in the theater prior to the start of the movie. The event featured a local Korean martial arts dojang which not only gave great support to a community business but also gave local kids from the area a chance to show off their talents.

I also took time to design the attached poster to help boost the event with the help of other businesses around the city. It features the dojang's well known sensei, Steve Kincade.
